How to Move the Taskbar

Question:
"I've somehow managed to move my taskbar from the bottom of the screen to the right hand of my screen. It's driving me nuts. How do I put it back where it belongs? Right now it's in auto-hide but I still know it 's not where it belongs. Can you help?"

Answer:

What's happened is that at some point you've held down your left mouse button while the mouse pointer was over the taskbar, and accidentally dragged it over to the side of the desktop.

Some people actually prefer their taskbar to the side of the screen, or on top. Obviously, you don't!

To return the taskbar to the bottom of the screen, single-click on the taskbar with the left mouse button and hold down the button.

Now move the mouse pointer to the bottom of the screen and release the button. It may take a few attempts for this to succeed, but this should move your taskbar back to where you want it.
