Microsoft Word Print Preview Editing - Microsoft Word
Word's <Print Preview> function is often used to examine text layout on documents. You can also edit your document directly from the <Print Preview> screen. Single-click on the <File> pull-down menu with the left mouse button, and then single-click on <Print Preview>. The first thing you'll notice is that the entire page is visible in <Print Preview>. That's great for checking your document's layout at a glance, but not so good for editing. Hover the mouse over the area of text you want to edit. The mouse pointer will look like a small magnifying glass. Single-click on the page you want to magnify. The page you selected will now appear at 100% magnification. Clicking on it right now will just shrink it down again. Before you can edit you have to single-click the <Magnifier> toolbar button to the off position. The button looks like a page with a magnifying glass held over it. Once you click the <Magnifier> button off, you'll be able to make changes on the document. When you're finished, you can switch the magnifier back on to see how your changes affect the page layout. Single-clicking on <Close< will return you to the document in Word.
